Book Description: My book HOW TO PRAY FOR MONEY reflects that I find God in Nature and in the Earth. It also places this understanding within the context of our modern industrialized society.
HOW TO PRAY FOR MONEY is a very practical guide to using the seven unspoken spiritual languages. It is also a vessel which assists its users to transform in synch with the evolving consciousness of the 21st Century.
I have listed it in the category of self-development because I examine in depth the charges "money" creates in our psyche, and list ways in which we can self-counsel ourselves in regards to our attitude towards money. I speak to the philosophy of service to others.
Perhaps most importantly, HOW TO PRAY FOR MONEY teaches us how to pray with gratitude for our future needs and desires. |

Author(s) Bio
Glenn Schiffman: My Soul resides in a body named Glenn Schiffman. A glen is a small ravine, deeply wooded, with a gentle creek or brook flowing through it. Schiffman is a northern German name. Translated it means my ancestors were men who took others from here to there in a small boat.
I was raised as a child in a border town of an Indian reservation. In 1978 I returned to my Earth People roots and my book reflects that I find God in Nature and in the Earth.
My book also places this understanding within the context of our modern industrialized society. My book HOW TO PRAY FOR MONEY is a vehicle assisting its users to transform in synch with the evolving consciousness of the 21st Century.
I have a masters degree in fine arts with an emphasis in creative writing from San Francisco State University. I also have a Masters Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica.
My wife Barbara Schiffman is also entered in Round 2 of this competition with her book "The Exhilaration Effect" (co-authored with Camille Leon, Author ID#741). Please check it out too.

Very unique insight into another culture - clearly this person lives it. I liked what I heard and it seems like a system of thinking and a process that I could understand. Ancient cultures are mostly lost wisdom. This book shows a simple yet powerful connection to Source or Life Force energy that seems like a revival of a lost art to me. I found it comforting and something I would like to know more about. Looking forward to reading it.
